Schloss restaurant serves an indulgent buffet breakfast and a wide menu of regional and international cuisine, while the cafe is a great spot to enjoy a famous Viennese coffee and pastry. Couples Australia, June 28, 2011	Fabulous location, great service, good restaurant Location - in the hills over the city, very very quiet; easy drive to shopping or public transport to city 9.3 Being a non-city dweller, we loved this hotel. It was incredibly quiet, had fabulous views of the city but close enough to be easy to get into the central areas. Restaurant was tremendous and good value. Hotel was restored beautifully and you really felt you were staying in a palace. Car parking was free and it was a good hop off to attractions outside the city. For those without cars, local transport (bus) was at the front gate. All in all, would go back again and again. Restaurant Tip: In house restaurant was great value and food was excellent. Views across the city from every table.
Satcha S. Business travelers Thailand, June 26, 2011	Great view, but no air-con Great view, nice building 6.7 The hotel locates on the hill nearby Vienna, take about 30 - 40 minutes to city center. The bus-stop is right in front of the hotel, quite convenience though. Staying here, you will enjoy great view of a whole Vienna, very impressive. The room is OK, but no air-con, so be prepared if you plan to stay over summer. Breakfast is good, but not included in room rate.

Solo travelers United States of America, November 22, 2010	Aging Princess Beautiful setting and a great view of the city. 7 The Sloss is a beautifull hotel, but saddly need a remake to bring her back to 4 star status. It is a nice property that should be upgraded and bring back a period of history.
