Very Disappointing
Next to Schonbrunn Palace

We had a nights stay in Vienna before we our flight. Decided to stay at the courtyard and leave Schonbrunn palace for our last day. Plus, they have a new years market on the palace grounds.
Location
Unless you are planning to only visit Schonbrunn palace there is no reason to every stay here. It is in a not so pretty part of Vienna. There was really nothing in the vicinity.
Hotel
The hotel itself was old and tacky looking with all the orange. Really a very basic hotel. Made me think of a highway side motel.
Rooms
The rooms were small and very simply furnished. There wasn't really space for our 2 luggages and we pretty much just jump/tripped on the mess. The only bright side was the pillows. There seems to be a shortage of pillows in Europe, with most hotels providing you with one very very flat pillow per person! This hotel gave us 5 small but stuffed pillows!
Service
The staff at the hotel were efficient and quite friendly. Especially the staff at the hotel restaurant.
Food
We had New Years' Eve dinner at the hotel and were very very disappointed. There was no festivities and the food was dreadful. We chose to have breakfast in the palace cafe instead.
I will never consider staying here ever again. There are plenty of other hotels in Vienna in the same price range (or cheaper, see Radisson Blu Palais) that are much better.

The hotel is a Marriott so there is no qualms about its offering. The location nis just near the Schobrunn Palace and a metro is very near. Area is secure. Food offered at the Dining Area is good and filling. Service is quite good too.

Unfriendly staff and No free wifi
good location to visit Schonbrunn

Although the location is nice. It's within 5 minutes walk to the Schonbrunn station and Schloss Schonbrunn. The staff there were not friendly without smile. I have stay in other hotel in Vienna too, it's provide free wifi and which disappointed me that in such a big hotel group. There's no free wifi at all and it cost 5 euro for 30 minutes.
