The hotel is in a centrally position in the city of Vienna near the Westbahnhof and therefore very close to various public traffic options. The standard is good with friendly personel and the price is very reasonable for Vienna. The rooms are very nice and quiet. Vienna is an expensive city. However, a hotel like The Golden Tulip is a very good option for a short but also a longer stay in Austria's capital. The hotel's standards are very high for the offered price with very friendly personel. The surroundings of the hotel provide various restaurants. In 5 minutes walking distance you reach the Westbahnhof, the main railway station of Vienna to the west and therefore this hotel is ideal for business travellers coming from other parts of Austria, Germany and Switzerland by trains. The connection to the public traffic is superb but one even can reach the city centre of Vienna (Stefansdom) in a 30 minutes easy walk.I stay in this hotel whenever I can and can recommend it warmly to everyone who comes to Vienna.
