Hotel Description

Located in the heart of the historic city center, a few minutes from St Stephen’s Cathedral, this hotel has the perfect location for exploring Vienna. The hotel is only 100 meters from the Stephen’s Square underground station, and a five minute walk from the opera house. The express train from the airport stops round the corner at the City Air Train Terminal. The Graben Hotel in Vienna was a famous meeting place for artists and writers like Franz Kafka at the beginning of the 20th century. The Art Nouveau building dates from 1918 and the rooms are all individually shaped and decorated. All rooms have satellite TV and free high speed wireless internet is available throughout the hotel. The Trattoria Santo Stefano and the Altenberg restaurant serve fabulous Italian and Austrian food and the famous Café Hawelka across the street is a place where today’s artists come together.

Couples Russia, December 01, 2012	great location and friendly servive best location, very quiet, very central, very good breakfast 9 very complicated system to use wifi. to have a kettle in the room would be nice. the best hotel feature is its location and the quiet enviromment right next to all the main city attractions. when we arrived there was no hot water on the 6th floor but the problem was fixed very quikly. great restaurant. thank you

Solo travelers France, May 10, 2011	great location but very small rooms staff perfect, excellent breakfast buffet, easy wifi, traditional vienna coffeeshop right in front, rooms perfectly silent 8.7 Have been surprised by the great location in the center of historic district and at about 10 min walking distance of the most important monuments. Efficient and smiling staff, available immediately when needed. Sunny front side but rooms protected from heat. I will recommend Graben Hotel to anyone going to Vienna. Hotel Feature Tip: Really all the best, except the size of the rooms (single ones, double quite big enough)

This hotel is a few meters away from Graben street which is one of the main streets in Vienna. Perfect, super-awesome. Has an elevator and not so noisy inside the hotel. Crews were generally nice but some are not. Breakfast was just middle, and room was kind of small.
