Situated on the banks of the river Danube, this hotel offers scenic views, comfortable accommodation and great facilities. The nearest underground station is only a five minute walk away and from there it takes about ten minutes to the historic city center. The airport is a 20 minute drive from the hotel. The Hilton Danube Hotel in Vienna has very large, elegantly furnished rooms, well designed bathrooms and cable TV as well as wireless internet access. The Symphony Restaurant, Melody Café and Rhapsody Lounge Bar serve excellent Austrian and international cuisine and refreshments. Leisure options include an outdoor swimming pool, spa, sauna, walking track and tennis courts. The hotel is close to the Austria Center and exhibition grounds, and to the famous Prater amusement park.

The Hilton Vienna Danube offers the largest guest rooms in Vienna with approximately 40 sq.m. each. Most of them have two queen size beds. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, mini bar, cable TV, two direct dial telephones with 2 lines, loudspeaker and voice mail, data port, trouser press. All windows can be opened, connecting doors are possible.

The description did not really reflect how remotely the hotel is located. The last shuttle from downtown Hilton leaves at 11:30, so unless you rent a cab, you have to use public transportation (and there is no metro near by, you need to transfer to a tram).

When going to the center use the line 21 approximately 150 meters away from hotel. This line brings you directly to center. Hotel transfer brings you to Hilton center, but this hotel is still quite far walking to Stephans Platz. Rooms are not extremely modern, but clean and quite big.
