Great staff and location

Great location as its a 15 min walk to anywhere. Great staff ,good English and attentive to all needs.
It's in need of an overhaul but aging gracefully . Huge rooms by European standards but showing there age and use.Wi -fi is only in foyer and code changes daily.Bit of a pain but plenty of lounge chairs to sit in.

Older hotel, good location, nice breakfast

We stayed here over Christmas during our trip around Europe. Nothing out of the ordinary & although Christmas decorations were up, there were no 'Merry Christmas' etc. It was nice to have access to sauna/spa/gym. We just felt more like a 'number' staying here than a person (we've been staying at s variety of hotels around Europe at a budget of ~$100AUD/night but thought we would splurge for Christmas, but a little disappointed with Hilton in Vienna).
Nice breakfast spread but both mornings seemed to be very short in staff. Both mornings I had to wait by the kitchen to ask for s coffee & eggs. Plates weren't cleaned away (and we didn't eat much either). It was nice that breakfast packs were available for early checkouts like ours.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Christmas markets all within walking distance.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were friendlyj and the dining room was very good. There was an additional charge for wi-fi which issimply penny-pinching. It is time that travellers voted with their feet to send a message to large hotel chains who choose to charge us for internet access as this cost should be factored into the room rates. The hotel is in a good location but a short distance away from the main shopping areas, however main attractions are easily accessible by tram or a 10 minute stroll.

mom and two boys enjoyed a wonderful weekend with good service and all we could desire except free wifi, small spa but not crowded, nice international breakfast but not very enthusiastic staff at breakfast. Room style 80ies and art nouveauish, but still nice!
still, recommendable!
good shop for fancy shirts!
