No aircon, only fan

Large room with sofa lounge, large bathroom and bathtub, and balcony. No aircon, only fan available. TV remote control was lost and they couldn't replace it or give us another one. Complimentary apply and sparkling water on arrival. Service could've been better especially at breakfast. No staff in the kitchen to assist with breakfast or to refill bread baskets that were empty. Breakfast with little choice and coffee was terrible! We got lost trying to find the hotel but only 5mins walk from station. Walking distance to most attractions.

Serviceable stay

The Hotel Goldene Spinne is a no frills, simple hotel located just on the edge of the Statpark in Vienna. That makes the location quite good, if a little further away from the main attractions of Vienna, but most things are still easily within walking distance.
Checking in and out is easy, and there are no hassles from hotel staff, who provide an efficient, businesslike service. The rooms are small but serviceable, but more than enough to clean up and sleep in.
THe Hotel Goldene Spinne is not the place to stay if you are looking for add-ons or five star service, but it serves its purrpose.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Live screenings of performances at the Opera Theatre are shown outside it, and you can easily find a seat (or lean against the shrubbery) to watch the shows for free. However, there will be the usual urban noises in the background - definitely a different operatic experience!

Good location with service with amile

The price for one person pretty expensive , free-internet out of order , some noise from the tram can be disturb during sleeping but the main feature is good location just only 3 mins walk to station and 15 walked to historic place.

Good just for a very short stay

I just needed to stay in a certain part of the city and this hotel happened to be really where I needed to stay.
It is easily reachable (some 6-7 min. walk from the airport train station), is very clean, but basic, a good chinese restaurant is next door.
Other than that, I do not have much to say, except that the bed really was the worst bed I have ever slept in.

街や空港へのアクセスが良く、便利。フリーWifiが使用できる。壁が薄いのか隣の音が聞こえるのが少し気になるかもしれない。朝食はチーズやパン、コーヒーとジュース、卵など、シンプル。

ミッテ駅の鉄道（在来線）の乗り場から地下コンコースを通り抜ければすぐ正面。
広くて清潔、バスタブ付き、無料で荷物を預かってくれる。

ミッテ駅は鉄道(在来線と空港行きの高速線）と地下鉄の乗り場がそれぞれ少し離れており、ホテルは在来線のコンコースの出口の正面にあります。地下鉄のホームまでは6分位、空港への高速鉄道駅はさらに遠く徒歩で10分くらいかかります。(ミッテ駅は現在改装中でしたが¨）部屋は清潔でバスタブもあり、無料のバゲッジルームが利用出来ました。快適に過ごせましたが、市内観光が目的だったため、もっと中心部に近い場所のホテルを選ぶべきだったかもしれません。

夜間到着でも便利な場所！！
シティ・エアポート・トレインのウィーン・ミッテ駅から徒歩3分非常に便利な場所です。

市内中心部ではありませんが、ウィーンの街自体歩きやすいところですので、このホテルでも不自由しませんでした。地下鉄も2路線あり、観光に不自由しません。
外見は古いのですが、部屋は手入れが行き届いており、広めの部屋でした。シャワーのみでしたが、固定式でないことと水の出がよかったので満足です。

旧市街の端に位置するが、地下鉄や路面電車の駅が近いので不自由しない立地です。

便利なところ
階段の踊り場にフリーのPCがあり、インターネット(日本語ページも)を見れた。日本語入力方法はわからなかった。キー配列はオーストリア流。
Mitteを出て、トラムの通りから見える。夜だとHotelの文字が目立って、ホテル名はちょっと見にくかったがわかりやすい立地。うるさくはなかった。

夜着のフライトだったので、空港から便利なところで安いところを選択。値段に見合うと思う。
チェックインの時に確認のため、パスポートを30分位、もしくは翌朝まで預けた。
清潔さはふつう。
