Clean and good location hotel.

The hotel is kinda like a budget hotel. It doesn't have air conditioning in the room. But my visit is in June, so it's not a problem for me.

Good location, very near the train station, as you can tell from the hotel name, also near the public transport, hence easy access to the city area. However, if you wish to be closer to the city and attractions, this may not be ideal for you.
Generally good service, rooms were ok, probably expecting more but it suited our needs, as we needed to catch an early train from the Westbahnhof.

Hotel opposite to the Vienna Central Train Station

I bought my auntie to Austria for a music tour, my priority when choosing hotel was it must be close to the train station, so we could drop the baggage conveniently before doing any sight-seeing. This hotel has a great location, just a street accross the Wien Westbahnhof station and in a quiet location (although we were told that quiet room facing the inner street was not available - we found no problem with the noise). Wien Wsetbahnhof station is just 10 mins to old town by metro. The room is clean and simple, with the price I paid and compare with the living standard in Vienna, it's good for value. The only unsatisfaction was that for both nights, we found our room door left opened, I guess it's because the cleaning staff did not close our door with a force. Luckily there was no property loss. Having said that, the hotel staffs were friendly and helpful.

It was after midnight when my husband & I arrived Vienna. We took the shuttle bus from the airport to Westbahnhof. We were disappointed to be told that the room we have paid for was given away because they over booked but Richard took us to another 4 star hotel in the next street and made sure we were taken cared for. We were also offered free breakfast for 3 in the following morning at Hotel Mercure. I was disappointed that I could not stay at Hotel Mercure because I think their rooms were a lot nicer than the hotel we stayed but they corrected their mistake and made sure we had a nice stay in Vienna.
