This hotel opposite Belvedere Palace and the Southern railway station has comfortable rooms at reasonable prices and excellent transport links to the historic city center.
The Prinz Eugen Hotel in Vienna is only a few minutes’ walk from the underground station and the tram station. From there, it is a five minute ride to St Stephen’s Square with its famous Cathedral. It is also possible to reach the downtown area on foot by taking a 15 minute walk through the Palace gardens. The area around the hotel has many lively local pubs and restaurants. The hotel has huge, elegantly furnished rooms with pleasant views and satellite TV.

Quite far from the city center but very near by the bus and by the Ubahn.
Very good breakfast.
Large rooms.
I think it's a very good address near the Belvedere and not far from the Opera House. The personnel is very good. The room comfort is very good and I think it's the best breakfast I had in a hotel for a long time.

Location was very convienient, right beside the train station and metro
Maybe a better selection of pillows
The Prinz Eugen hotel was a really nice hotel, the staff were very friendly and helped to book various trips for us. The hotel room was quite comfortable with air con. and a good sized bathroom. Excellent up to date english films on tv free of charge. The breakfast was excellent and if I return to Vienna I will def. stay there again.
Restaurant Tip : Gino's Italian restaurant is just around the corner from the hotel and has excellent food at a very good price
