Ristorante Settimo Cielo
The panorama in 'seventh heaven' restaurant overviews St. Stephen's Cathedral, Belvedere Castle, Imperial Palace, City Hall and the Viennese Woods. The hotel offers a refined Italian kitchen which focuses on seafood.
Ristorante Firenze Enoteca
The traditional Tuscan kitchen, with a great variety of homemade pasta, as well as excellent service, will make you feel like you are in the heart of Italy. The standard menu includes seasonal specialties, such as truffles from Alba. Vienna's largest collection of 'Chianti Classico' and wine rarities (some from the 1950s) make any visit in one of the oldest Italian specialty restaurants in Austria a unique experience.

Location Location Location The fan in the bathroom could be better. The guide book said this moderately priced hotel is in a superb location, and in fact it could not be better. It is within walking distance of the Opera, Hofburg and good restaurants. The U Bahn is two minutes away as are the pedestrian shopping streets Graben and Karntner and St. Stephens cathedral.The latter considerately turns the bells off during the night from 11pm until 6am.
Although the dining room was a bit crowded the buffet breakfast was very good with plenty to choose from and the cheerful staff most efficient. Our non-smoking room was on the eigth floor and although situated in the attic it was quite charming. We left the window open the first night and were awakened at 5:00 am by a beeping as the window closed automatically due to rain!

Room is narrow and no air-conditioner. This hotel is very near the St. Stephan and metro station. We arrive at night time but around the hotel is nice spot. You can enjoy your night. Hotel is very old and historical. But I am satisfied with this hotel. I recommend that breakfast room is small so that go there little early morning.

no airconditioning in the rooms The Royal Hotel is located right next to the Cathedral in the heart of the city. The staff were all friendly. Very reasonably priced. There are restaurants, cafes stores etc near the hotel. A supermarket is opposite the hotel with cheap water, fruits etc. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : It's no problem getting the Cathederal and hotel in the same photo.
