A truly 5 star experience pricey but worth it
Great bar and restaurant with fantastic rooms in the top area - worth the extra. The breakfast is great.

A really interesting place and just not he usual good Sofitel standard. The concierge made us. Working tour on the map which was good in the winter months. The rooms are very modern and have every feature. Make sure you are clear if you want to do dinner or a drink on the top floor as it is very popular with locals and you need to put your foot down if you turn up and there is some resistance and booking requests.
Restaurant Tip:
Have a feed at the traditional cafe near the Sisi - try the beef soup.

Directions
Getting to the hotel is simple. Take the A4 to the Knoten Prater Junction and join the B227 toward the Zentrum (Center), then follow the Donaukanal Bundesstraße (B227) toward Untere Donaustraße. Follow signs for the Innenstadt (City Center) and turn right on to Taborstraße. Immediately take a sharp right on to Praterstraße that runs parallel to the Unteren Donaustraße. If you are traveling by rail, the nearest station is Westbahnhof, and if you are traveling by underground, the nearest station is Schwedenplatz, Lines U1 and U4.
