Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Food very nice.
excellent Breakfast.
Poor service, awful waiters, terrible room, no wi-fi internet.
The room was tiny with old blankets on the single bed. There were several burn marks in the carpet. In the bathroom there was black mould around the tiles in one corner of the shower. My room was located on the 4th floor and overlooked a roof area and other hotel rooms.
At dinner the waiter bought my starter after 40 minutes and still had not cleared and reset the table. I asked him if it was normal to seat someone at a table which was not yet cleared and reset to which he did respond by apologising and immediately sorted it out. However the beer that I ordered when he gave me the menu was not brought for 20 minutes and later I asked for another which never appeared. One woman who complained about the length of time it had taken to get her sweet got shouted at by the waiter!
The food was very nice when it did finally appear.
Needless to say at the price a night I won't be returning. This was a terrible hotel.

The location was convenient.
Clean room
Kind hotel staff
Our room was located at the back side of the hotel. It was a bit noisy at night until around mid-night.
It's 5 min walk from Grand Place, 10-12 min walk from Central Station and 5 min to South Station by taxi. It was very convenient to go site seeing inside Brussels and to go to another city by train.
The hotel staff was very friendly (except for one person) and they kindly told us how to get to places.

Great breakfast,
Comfortable room.
I am writing this review in a 2 star hotel; I have fast free internet access in my room. The Bedford hotel is 4 stars and there was no internet access in the rooms. This is disgraceful and in my view warrants downgrading the hotel to 2 stars. Giving a hotel 4 stars when it doesnt have internet access is just misleading.
All the ambiance of the hotel is great. The staff were friendly, the reception light and welcoming, the lifts good, and the food excellent. However there is one thing which ruins this hotel - the lack of internet access in the rooms. The hotel just is not catering for the needs of its guests; in the 21st century we cannot live without the internet, but the hotel doesnt seem to have learnt this yet. Whats more, the hotel advertises internet access and fails to offer it - that is nothing less than fraud.
Hotel Feature Tip : This hotel had better get its act together fast regarding the internet. I recommend travellers who have been advertised internet access in their rooms and dont get it, to demand a full refund of their room rate.
