The Scandinavia Hotel is a small affair close to Midi station and serves as an ideal stop for transient and economy minded visitors to Brussels. The hotel is housed in a traditional looking building like many in its neighborhood and offers 50 medium sized guest rooms with en-suite bathrooms and standard amenities like air-conditioning and heating, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, internet access, mini-bar, and safe. On-site facilities include a small brasserie type restaurant serving international dishes with a rather nice view of the main road and city lights in front of the hotel property. The hotel is ideal for the Eurostar, Thalys, and TGV as well as trains to other areas of Belgium and also provides a cozy base from which to explore the city.

The hotel is quite close to a subway station. The staff is helpful and the setting is nice.
The hotel is somewhat isolated even with the windows closed and it is located in a neighborhood bruillant almost all night (in front of a bar). We found bugs in our bed and asked to change room. Showers and Baignoises are old (rusty).
We expected to find ourselves in a 5 star hotel due to its modest price. This hotel can be recommended for tourists who visit the city and do what sleep. It is located near a subway entrance that gives access to the city. However some improvements could be achieved in terms of sound insulation of windows because it is very difficult to sleep on the street because the side bar. The health facility may also be replaced (rusted bathtub). We hope that you have found bugs in our bed or a acccident, but this is unacceptable in a hotel. In conclusion, staff is helpful and courteous. We have to sleep at the hotel and are at the limit of satisfaction. A more easily could be feasible. The conditions for use of Agodi should be in french.
