The hotel is quite well located , 15 minutes by walk from the Grand Place and Gare du Midi - train station (Brussel-Zuid ).Hotel building is a little bit old outside , and need some renovations , but nice inside . We stayed on the 4-th floor of the hotel ,had small room , basic equipped . The soundproofing of the room was pretty poor . Breakfast was good.The neighborhood was a little bit scary especially after dark , due to lots of immigrants who live in the hotel area .

I have stayed at van Belle several times before and I usually get a good price. Brteakfast is standard continental breakfast with muesli, omelette, ham and chesse, some different kinds of bread. My room was very clean and cleaning staff was very nice. The reception staff was very friendly and helped to get a printed description to the place where I had a meeting. There was a free computer at the reception to check mails and to use the journey planner for public transport (www.mivb.be)
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
200m to tram and bus stop Place d´Ánderlecht. 500 m to metro station Clemenceau, so I could easily go to different places where we had meetings

cosy rooms and great location

i stay at Van Belle Hotel and the staff were friendly, giving us information about Brussel and also providing us with a city map that showed certain Brussels landmarks. Furthermore, it is walkable distance away from Midi Station- the central station where all the trains and buses can be found, and also walkable distance from Grand Place. They even provided free shuttle service that brings guests to and fro Grand Place, as well as free shuttle to midi station on the day of check out!
