Clean hotel, great location, boutique-like

Getting to the hotel, which is more like an appartment suite than anything, was fairly easy by car. Parking is the only issue since it is the city center. The place had a very boutique-like feel and was very modern. The bathroom was large and clean, but did not have an exhaust fan, and the shower curtain was a little to small. Appliances and furniture were all excellent. When other people are staying in the suites next to yours, the walls seem relatively thin and you can hear them.

Hotel Feature Tip: If you are only staying for the day, we would recommend you park in the surface parking area next to the hotel at the intersection of Penitentenstraat and Speldenstraat. Then you don't have to walk your luggage to the underground lot recommended by the hotel. The cost is the same, and you can pay at the street booth, but you may need instructions on how to pay for 24 hours (it was a flat rate of 10 Euros I believe, but we needed to use coins because foreign credit cards do not work in the machine). Ask the hotel owner for instruction on how to use the machine. The other issue is finding a spot in that area, but if you do, you are gold. We also ate at Restuarant Valentijn, which was a tiny little place that was recommended on a few sites. A great meal that didn't break the bank.
