lovely hotel a little away from town centre

the italia hotel is just about 3 km away from sarajevo's huzz and buzz in its town centre. a cab is about to go there. room was very spacious, just the bath was a little to tiny. the service a the reception and during breakfast was very friendly and helpful. breakfast was all right.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
See the old town including the memorial cemetry of the Civil War.

This hotel offers good value in Sarajevo where hotels are often pretty highly priced compared to other European destinations. The location is not central but the hotel can be reached quite easily by tram or bus. You'll reach the old town in about 15-20 mins. Walking is not possible.
The only problem with this hotel is, that only one receptionist speaks English. All the other staff only speak bosnian. This might cause you problems if you want to ask something or get any information. You should do all the asking when the young girl is behind the check in desk. She is very nice, polite and helpfull. The same goes for all of the staff but they just do not speak foreign languages.
