Spacious, affordable rooms and friendly service greet travelers at this hotel on the left bank of the river Vltava.
With the Andel metro stop at the door, Akcent Hotel is well-placed for tourists who want quick access to Prague's Old Town without paying premium prices. It's only a few stops from here into the tourist zones and the immediate area offers a range of good value dining and drinking options: the nearby Staropramen Brewery and its bounty of tasty draught is just one example. The hotel is fairly new and occupies a well-maintained functionalist block from the 1930's; interiors are clean, modern and bright and a basement sports bar offers beers and snacks 24 hours a day.
Lesser Town is a 15-minute walk from here and the Old Town around ten minutes further, while a shopping complex is a few blocks away for groceries, coffee or even a Czech-dubbed Hollywood movie.

very near metro station (10 meters) and only a couple of stops to go everywhere you want to, very near shopping centre (other side of metro station), good room, good service, free internet in room
a very pleasant stay at this relatively cheap hotel. a 2-bed room for the same price as a 1-bed room so that wasn't a hard choice to make. probably as a result the room i got was quite big. fast internet in the room was included (wired, but the hotel has wires you can use) which was a pleasant surprise.
the hotel is located on top of a metro station, and only a couple of stops from the main attractions and city centre, a big plus.
the street it is located in is not really great (not bad either) with a couple restaurants and a casino (under the hotel) but at the other side of the metro station is a big shopping area with supermarkets and lots of other stores.
baggage storage after checkout was provided and the staff were really helpful and nice.
no complaints at all, a pleasant stay in a hotel i can really recommend, for a student and bit of a budget-traveller like me this is really good quality.
Nightlife Tip : the Lucerna Music Bar is a truly great music venue with a great atmosphere.
