The quality of this hotel is unexpectedly good, I would recommend it.
LOCATION: The location is fine, it's quite near public transport, e.g. Metro & tram stations. It'd be better if the hotel indicates the right exit of Metro for it on the booking confirmation though: actually it's quite near the Metro station if you can find the right exit but if you have gone for the wrong exit, just like we did, you'll have to walk a long way to the hotel.
RECEPTION & STAFF: The receptionists speak fair English, compared to the other people in Czech like waiters & waitresses, etc.. They are friendly, nice and helpful. They'd ring us to ask if we wanted them to make up our room and when we would want them to do so. The other members of staff greeted us with smile every time they saw us. We feel we're valuable guests.
HOTEL CONDITIONS: The hotel looks just like what it is presented in the pictures. Basically the whole hotel is in good conditions, both the inside and the outside look good, and there are lifts available. We lived on the 4th floor & we appreciated it a lot cos we didn't have to walk up and down the stairs every day.
ROOM CONDITIONS: We're very satisfied with our room & bathroom . Bathtub and hair drier are available. It's big and clean. There are heating both in our room and the bathroom. The "double" bed, though, is what we're most dissatisfied with: it's made up of 2 single beds.
BREAKFAST: It's a buffet breakfast and there are a wide range of choices of food and drinks. The taste is fine.
WIFI: There's free WiFi both in the public area and our room and it's really fast, so we're very satisfied with it.

Highly recommended. It's quiet at night and beautiful in daytime. The surroundings are even better than the famous tourism spots for us to experience Prague.

Hotel is quite out the way, and the nearest metro station Narodni T. Has been demolished. However, the next nearest metro is behind a shopping complex.
Although hotel is out of the way, there is a supermart across the street, and 2 good restaurants just a stone throw away.
Hotel staff very prompt when I asked for a hot water kettle. There is heating in the toilet, which is very good during winter. I was given a corner room, which was big, but that is perhaps why the wifi strength is weak.
Breakfast was relatively good, much more than bread and cereals. Guaranteed a good start to you day.
Restaurant Tip:
for a very czech beer house experience, visit restaurant 'u fleku', which is about 30 steps away from the hotel. otherwise, if you prefer a quiet meal, turn left and there's a nice one about 50 steps away.

The hotel is conveniently location within Prague 01, within the quiet neighbourhood, with some local restaurants and bars around.
It's 15min walk to old town square and about 20min to main train station.
Liked the Czech style daily breakfast at the hotel and cleanliness in the room.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Must visit: old town square (remember to watch the astronomy clock to clock every hour), new town square, municipal house and castle.

Person on desk when we arrived surly. Smoking in general areas off putting. Bar area not well furnished. However very good location makes up for this.
