Good hotel on the border of Prague
close to metro station, situated on the hill

The hotel is situated in 10 minutes by walk from metro station Roztyly (red line). But you have to walk up on the hill! There're 3 path: one, the longest is asphalt; the second is semi-asphalt; and the shortest is thru the wood.
Hotel is very popular for bus tourist groups which come to Prague for 2-4 days and tourists on car. Parking is large enough.
Rooms are big enough, shower, tv ensuite. Buffet breakfast is every day the same, but quite rich.
Staff speaks English, German, Russian.
There's little souvenir shop at the hall. Also you can relax on 2 massage chairs.
Night-club - bar works sometimes on the underground floor. Lobby bar is open until 23:00. Restoraunt (grill bar) is outside, in the park.
Also you can have dinner in restoraunt Koliba (next building); and the cheapest way - in curling club near the metro station.

Pictures from the hotel give the idea of a forest or park located hotel, but it is pure suburb place, in the middle of block of flats.

mooi gelegen
Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en goed, zeker prijs-kwaliteit valt dit hotel erg mee. Mooi gelegen aan een groot bosgebied waar je kan wandelen en mountainbiken. Vlakbij metro !

Globus is mooi gelegen, en is vooral een troef voor mountainbike liefhebbers. We hebben de 2 massagestoelen in de inkom van het hotel een aantal keren gebruikt en het is leuk om je laatste kleingeld in kwijt te geraken, let op voor dikke benen, ze worden als het ware geplet... toch wel ontspannend.
In de bar is het niet zo duur, maar niet echt gezellig. Het restaurant Koliba (weet niet of dit echt tot het hotel behoort) is een beetje tricky; in heel Praag trouwens: couvert en service is nooit inbegrepen. In Koliba kan je zelfs kiezen of je de service apart (lees in het zwart) of met de kreditkaart betaalt.
Globus is heel proper, we vonden dit prijs-kwaliteit heel goed geslaagd ! De verbinding met de metro is eenvoudig en je bent op een kwartiertje in het centrum.
