good location
good location for taking tram

The hotel is located on the big road with the tram station is
on the opposite for the tram no. 4 and another tram station
is at the corner. The hotel is not far away from the Prague Congress Center.If you have to attend the congress , then you need to take tram no.4 for 2 stations and take a walk upto the
small hill for about 15 minutes.So, perhaps you may choose to stay at the hotel in city center and take the metro line 2
which will stop at the front of Prague Congress Center

Nice hotel, worth its price

i stayed in this hotel with my mother & we enjoyed our stay. the hotel is nice, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is tasty (bread, toasts, cheese, ham, jam, cereals, froots, milk, tea, coffee). in front of the hotel there is a tram stop and you can easily and quickly get to the town centre. you can also walk on foot along a small river to vyshegrad; it takes 20 minutes. if you leave to visit another town before breakfast you can ask the staff to leave you sandwiches at the reception.
our room was quite nice, though there was no table and there weren't enough hooks for towels in the bathroom. if you want to stay here you'd better take a room that opens to the yard because the street is rather noisy.
on the whole we think that this hotel is worth its price.

It is very easy to take tram to Charles Bridge and Prague Palace and to the train station and there is a restaurant nearby ,it is a asian food which taste good and reasonal price

- old decor rooms
- housekeeping tidies your room and gives you new towels. However no new soaps.
- breakfast is basic - ham,salami, bread (sometimes slightly old) and condiments. Plus tea and coffee.
- wifi access has serious problems, it would work not much of the time and when it did it wasn't a great connection.
- walls are paper thin so you can hear everything that happens around your room
-There is no heating and there could be potentially a noise problem in summer if you want to open your window.
-Directions from main railway station is unclear. Ensure you confirm this prior to your stay.
Pros
- new renovated bathroom
- Breakfast lady was very diligent with her job.
- 15 min tram ride into town and there is great food down the road at the steakhouse. Also good food in Il pavlova, approx 7 mins away on tram.
Wouldn't necessarily say it was great value for money. But it was cheap so what you pay is what you get.

Nice little hotel away from the crowd
clean, helpful staff, only about 10 to 15 minutes by tram to the city centre

located right in front of a tram station. it was easy getting here from the main train station. staff was very helpful with any questions. great value!!

Bring your own toiletries. only basic hand soap and packets of shampoo provided

Great place to stay
The service was helpful and friendly, room clean, shower, TV (if you have time for that) and a reasonably ambitious "continental breakfast" make this a good value for money.

The hotel is, in my opinion, very good value for money.
We arrived in Prague at 10PM and did not have a place to stay. We ran across the Merlin and were welcomed by the lady, who was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was huge and the beds were comfortable.The location is ideal, with many restaurants and bars nearby to pull from.

El hotel tiene unas salas de estar muy pequeñas. La red Wifi no llega a la cuarta planta (en la que estábamos), por lo que debes bajar para conectarte.
El desayuno es muy deficiente: el café es agua, los zumos no digamos, el embutido muy normalito, de fruta sólo tienen manzanas, la leche estaba fría, sólo tienen una tostadera casera.
Te cobran por usar un ordenador con conexión...
El baño no tiene toalleros. No hay jaboneras. Los armarios están muy mal acabados, sin cajones...
Andando está a una hora del centro. En tranvía se accede bastante bien.
Restaurant Tip:
cuanto más a las afueras de la zona turística son más baratos. La comida y la cerveza no es muy cara, pero de unas zonas a otras varía el doble.

La estancia ha sido muy agradable. La habitación no era muy grande, pero estaba silenciosa y cumplía con los requisitos mínimos. El servicio de limpieza funcionó muy bien ya que cambiaban las toallas todos los días. El servicio de desayuno era correcto para un hotel de estas características.
Travel tip:
Es una opción muy recomendable por su relación calidad/precio si su uso se limita a estar en el hotel para dormir mientras el resto del día se hace turismo.

Nous avons passé 4 jours dans cet hôtel un peu loin de la vieille ville mais que le tramway nous permettait de rejoindre en à peine 8 mn, de jour comme de nuit. Le seul problème est le même tramway, qui bien que très pratique, nous empêchait de dormir. Un conseil, demandez une chambre à l'arrière de l'hôtel, le bruit sera certainement moindre.La chambre était de taille très correcte (chambre triple) et surtout très propre.
Les réceptionnistes assurent un très bon accueil et sont très serviables. Un autre bémol, le café et le jus d'orange ne sont pas terribles mais le reste est bon et à volonté. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet hôtel.
