Location is good, just few steps to tram and not far from Charles bridge, 24 hrs reception and the staffs are friendly and helpful, Wifi signal covers into the room. Breakfast is nice, many selections. Overall we are quite happy with this hotel.

The tram frequency was good enough for us to get around. Having a tram stop not too far away from the hotel helped. Nice little restaurants nearby with tasty food.
The breakfast was good too!

Lovely old style hotel with great service

Lovely hotel in the Lesser Quater in Prague, across the river from Old Town Prague. An easy stroll across the Charles Bridge will get you there though and it is the best way to enter the Old Town. The Hotel itself is a little worn around the edges (a couple of things were broken in our room) but has so much charm that it was easy to overlook these. Hotel staff (particularly Petyr) were very helpful and bent over backwards to make sure we got to see all the sights. Only gripe would be the constant smell of cigarette smoke in the hall way.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Make sure you take a walk over the Charles Bridge and into the Old Town at night. It is a completely different experience to day time.

The hotel is in easy walking distance of the old town, has large rooms with cooking facilities at a reasonable price. A generous buffet breakfast is included in the price and the staff at the front desk were helpful. The only minor criticism is that you need to ask for cooking utensils, and no cleaning materials are provided if you want to cook a meal or two for yourselves. Wifi internet access is provided free, but the signal was pretty marginal in our room.

Convenient and comfortable hotel

a good hotel near mala strana (new town) area. worth the price. the staffs are very helpful and speak english. rooms are a little bit old but comfort. the location is near the tram station or can be walk to the major attraction place within 10 minutes.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take tram in tram station near the hotel up to the castle in the morning and walk down the hill to Mala strana and old town is a good choice

My stay in this hotel is comfortable. although the rooms do not have air conditioning. (quite warm on a sunny day) rooms were big and clean. comfy beds. breakfast buffet is about the same everyday. hotel staff friendly and helpful. it is a 25min walk into old town or you could catch a tram. lots of eateries nearby.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Its a good 25min walk to the Old Town. but a pleasant one as you can see Charles Bridge and Prague Castle from a distance. You can tram down to old town as well. its also walking distance to prague castle. about 20mins.

the restaurants around the hotel are reasonably-priced , more than that in the old town

the hotel room is very very comfortable and spacious. The only thing to pay attention might be there is no self-service laundry nearby like in Paris. Therefore, you are advised to use the service by the hotel. The room is also new and everything is so delightful
Travel tip:
the restaurant closes usually at 11:00pm, with he last-order at 10:30 or earlier. There is a restaurant opening late near the bridge, the corner turned before reaching the hotel

Retro hotel in a quiet locality

Had a good stay at Hotel Residence Mala Strana. The junior suite we were assigned was massive and comfortable. The breakfast at the hotel was basic and okay. The location of this hotel is great. It is a ten minute walk left to the castle area and a ten minute walk right to the Old Town District. Yet it is outside the touristy madness of the Old Town. The staff are very warm and helpful too. I would stay here again if I were to go back to Prague.
Restaurant Tip:
If you have a junior suite, you could cook light supper yourselves and save money eating out at restaurants
