Great place
Helpful owner, close to downtown, free secure parking

Stayed here for 2 nights. Booked a standard room, got upgraded to a huge family room. Very quiet residential area with not much around it, but only 3 tram stops (6 minutes) away from the castle district and a 5 minute walk DOWN hill to the famous castle. Trams run every few minutes all day and night and they sell tickets at the hotel. The stop is right in front of the hotel. Just left my car in the gated and locked parking area in the back of the hotel. During day time there was some road noise but at night, the street is very quiet with only an occasional car. Shower was great, as hot as you wanted and good water pressure. The included breakfast was good - they give you your own large plate of meat, cheese, cucumber and a bread basket and cereals, yogurt, fruit and unlimited coffee are available. They will cook you eggs to order if you ask. Owner speaks excellent english and is very helpful with recommendations on what to see and how to get there. I wouldnt hesitate to stay here again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take the tram 3 or 4 stops to castle district. This lets you out an easy 5 minute walk downhill to the castle. Then continue downhill one of the bridges to see the rest of the city and tram it back to the hotel when you are done. We saw a whole lot of people struggling walking up the pretty steep hill to the castle if you start from the city.

family run hotel with comfortable rooms

The owner and staffs there are friendly to give us suggestions and help about direction etc. The tram is just right in front of the hotel, and it is near to Prague castle.
We can self service ourselves at the kitchen anytime and pay at the end of out stay.
