Worn down hotel in a super location

one recalled immediately the hotel and rooms from last visit in 1975 - except that some furnitures had been exchanged - unfortunately with other old furnitures of random style.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Visit the North West coast line of Jutland - any time of the yeaR.

Na een lange reis vanuit Nederland met veel gladheid in Aalborg aangekomen. Het is reeds donker geworden maar het hotel is eenvoudig aan te rijden. Het hotel ligt aan een doorgaande weg en is van een grote afstand al te zien. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid voor de deur. Vriendelijk ontvangen en opmerkelijk dat men hier nog kan kiezen voor een rokers-kamer. Kamer dient wel direct betaald te worden, wat ik niet vaak tegen kom. Het restaurant, wat zich op de bovenste etage van het hoge gebouw bevindt, was helaas dicht. Schijnt altijd op maandag gesloten te zijn. Het restaurant biedt een mooi uitzicht over de stad dit omdat er een mogelijkheid was naast het "gesloten" restaurant van het uitzicht te genieten.
Kamer was klein en redelijk gedateerd. Met name de badkamer zou een update kunnen gebruiken. Mijn kamer bevond zich direct naast de lift wat volgens mij ook niet nodig was gelet op de lage bezettingsgraad in het hotel.
Om te eten uiteindelijk uitgeweken naar centrum van Aalborg. Dit is slechts op 5 min. loopafstand van het hotel.
