location, breakfast, nice staff

Location is 5 minutes' walk from the central station.
Room is small and old but tidy.
Staffs are always friendly.
There are many choices in breakfast. Especially Pastries are great.

Comfortable bed and clean, well-furnished bathroom was appreciated, and it's literally a five-minute walk from Hamburg Central station. Breakfast is an extra cost but I did not order it so cannot judge. Hotel still uses keys which must be handed in at reception when guests leave, rather than the more convenient and secure keycard system.
Nightlife Tip:
Don't turn right from the main entrance to this hotel unless you are into the sleazier side of Hamburg.
