The Admiral Hotel is a fabulous hotel that exudes a rustic and maritime ambiance for a magnificent, historic stay in Copenhagen. The hotel is a fortress-looking old warehouse from 1787, with plenty of history. The Battle of Copenhagen in 1801 raged just outside of this building. But this is no archaic hotel. The Admiral perfectly combines the past and present with complete refurbishing while respecting the original architecture. Gorgeous pine beams permeate throughout the 366 rooms and the rest of the hotel, while stunning stone archways can be found in several of the public areas. The teakwood furniture and fittings are classic but modern, maritime-inspired designs. No two rooms are alike. Exquisite bathrooms are decorated with terracotta Italian tiles. Across the waterway is the Copenhagen Opera House, and nearby attractions include the Amalienborg Palace and the gardens of Amaliehaven. Salt Bar Salt bar is placed in a very lively part of the hotel, close to the reception.	Junior Suite The large suites are beautiful rooms, luxuriously equipped on one or two levels. In the junior suites, an attractive sweeping stairway leads from the sitting area up to the sleeping area. The sloping walls, thick brick and solid woodwork make for an extremely attractive atmosphere. Used for hundreds of years to transfer light below deck on the large sailing ships, the characteristic ships grating have been retained throughout.
Lobby	Meeting Suite The exciting layout of the hotel´s senior and conference suites, including new conference sections with wood flooring, and impressive solid conference tables, ships décor, and Trip Trapp´s famous deckchair, completes the maritime theme and creates an unparalleled conferemce setting.
Guest Room The rustic and maritime atmosphere permeates the 200 years old hotel’s 366 rooms and suites, which have all been adapted to the original timber constructions of heavy Pomeranian pine.	Senior Suite The exciting layout of the hotel´s senior and conference suites, including new conference sections with wood flooring, and impressive solid conference tables, ships décor, and Trip Trapp´s famous deckchair, completes the maritime theme and creates an unparalleled conferemce setting. The upper levels offer an easterly view over the harbour promenade, and thr tranquil inner harbour, and to the west, a magnificent view of the old city´s towers and spires with Amalienborg in the foreground.

Salt Bar
Salt bar is placed in a very lively part of the hotel, close to the reception. A great place to meet, have a cocktail before or after dinner or just to sit and enjoy a drink while observing the many activities in the lobby.

Salt Restaurant
Salt bar & restaurant emanates atmosphere and history with large exposed beams frame the ceiling, The rustic, white-washed walls, big mirrors and simplistic blue and burgundy designer’s furniture all set off the ancient Pomeranian pine beams. The cuisine is French with a Mediterranean touch, spiced with superb Danish raw materials. The menu presents a plethora of innovation, and the wines are carefully selected.

Salt bar & cafe
Salt bar & cafe is located at the Harbourpromenade. We have outdoor service during summer. Here soft drinks, coffee, tea and cold and warm lunch- and dinner courses are served.

Friendly staff, wonderful building, really nice rooms, breakfast buffet, location

A boat in the harbor made a lot of noise 24-hours a day, this was probably temporarily.

The hotel is well worth a visit, we will definitly go back. It is very well maintained, it's easy to find the information you need and the staff was very helpful. The room was very nice and clean. We didn't miss anything during our stay. The building has an interesting history as well. It's very close to the harbour, and not far from Ströget. Highly recommended.

We do not have any complaints.

Upon arrival we were upgraded to a double room overlooking the canal. The view from the room included the new Opera House. The buildings wooden beams (exposed wood, probably from the 1800s) are truly impressive and the marine decor makes it extra special combined with some of the minimalist details. The hotel staff was friendly and helped us with directions, an iron and ironing board with perfect ease. The computers with internet connection in the lobby included access to a color laser printer! (Perfect for printing boarding passes)

Nice, cozy, maritime atmosphere, ideally located near Nyhavn with all its pubs. Walking distance to shopping area, etc.

Clean rooms of good size, good breakfast with eggs, bacon and continental breakfast as well. A nice bar and good service all over. The rooms overlooking the harbour/sea are to prefer with regard to a nice view, while the rooms on the other side of the hotel faces the street. However, the street is not noisy as it does not have a lot of traffic. Have stayed here three times, and will return again next year..
