Nice location but small room
Fine, renovatated building, near Nyhavn and theater
6.3
We had the best price room (which is not really cheap in Copenhagen), but it was opposite the elevator and it was small. The main drawback is the noise, hearing your neighbours television which was not on loud.

Charming Hotel in a good location
location, cleanliness, professional staff
8.3
Pros: Hotel was clean. Location - excellent. Front desk staff acted professionally.
Cons: Breakfast buffet (; bacon burnt, scrambled eggs were some sort of egg substitute); Minibar has motion sensors (if you move anything from its original location, it will trigger a charge to your room.)
Shopping Tip:
There is a small grocery store on Toldbodgade a short distance from the hotel (between Nyhavn and the hotel). Buy snacks and beverages there rather than from the minibar.

great hotel in very good location. very nice room, upgraded to a deluxe with views of canal (extra $40pn)well worth it. only let down was no coffee making facilities and expensive internet.
couple of problems at check in. requested an early check-in but was not able to do so and as we were travelling with friends requested rooms on the same floor but were given a room two floors down. problem was fixed quite quickly. however we were then advised that we had a message waiting and after quite a hunt no one in reception could find it. anyway after our return to australia (3 days later) we were advised of a death in the family and were told that quite a few messages were left at reception and even trying to get through to our room on the phone was impossible as they were constantly cut off.
check-out although done efficiently was not without problems either as we were charged for breakfast (which we never had)and incorrect mini bar items.
all in all, very pleasant hotel and friendly, if ineficient staff.

Admiral Hotel is a fine hotel.
8.3
I have stayed at Admiral Hotel a lot of times - alone and with my wife. We both love this hotel.
Normally I have a room against the harbour side, with magnifique view to The opera and the new royal theatre.
For the first time I had a view against the city and against The castle where the danish queen lives.
In the lounge there is a bussy and at the same time relaxing atmosphere, with a nice bar.
All in all a hotel to recommend.
Restaurant Tip:
New haven.

Great hotel at central location in Kopenhagen
Center and viewpoints at walking distance, Great restaurant, nice ambiance

We had a very pleasant stay. One small remark: parking is limited!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Royal Palace at walking distance; grab food at the harbour pubs (less than 1/4 mile walk from hotel)

I came there late in the evening. The hotel seemed very comfortable. The room was high, with hundreds of years old logs running in the ceiling. I had a balcony with a view of the Copenhagen Opera house on the other side of the bay. Excellent breakfast. Superior service from the staff. A quiet place to rest. Just a walking distance from the center right next to the Amalienborg, kings castle.

Lovely historic building in a great location
very comfortable beds and a great breakfast buffet
8.3
The Admiral hotel is in a great location and has been done up beautifully. We were greeted by a most friendly receptionist and checked in to our room which unfortunatley did not have a Canal View.(We had put in a requetst for one) The traffic noice from the street was a little bit annoying, but the comfortable beds made up for it. It was perfectly clean and had dark blinds, so that was a bonus. The breakfast buffet was superb and we would definitley stay at this hotel again.

Stunning hotel in great location
conversion of old warehouse feature into a modern and cosy hotel

We spend New Year in Copenhagen and the Admiral Hotel was the perfect place for watching the fireworks along the waterfront, as well as a good starting point for sightseeing the next day. It is a short walk from the palace and offers a beautiful walk along the pier. Whilst the hotel has many appear imposing from the outside, the interior design and layout offers a cozy atmosphere. The breakfast buffet was absolutely superb.
Travel tip:
restaurants and bars along the Fishing harbour; walking around Christianshavn; Customs house bar/restaurant; eating danish hot dogs

True. Good service in general, but smal rooms.
Nice breakfast. Good beds.
7.3
In general a very nice hotel, with a beautiful view to Copenhagen Opera house across the water.
Parking for cars is very limited and expensive. Breakfast is comprehensive and very nice, but on the expensive side.
Walking distance to famous areas like Nyhavn and Ströget is short.
