the hotel is located a few steps away from nyhavn and amalienburg, just opposite the opera. the staff were very friendly and helpful and we could have our room already at 11 o'clock.
the room was quite big, and very clean! the hotelbar is a nice location for a drink, also with very friendly staff. delicious breakfast!

The staff were friendly and executed an upgrade at no cost. The rooms are unusually spacious for Denmark and the views to the east are lovely.

Unfortunate start to the stay as our rooms were double booked and we had to be housed elsewhere for the first night, they remedied the situation the next morning and gave us a wonderful suite with free breakfast.
Service, once sorted, was good.

One of Copenhagen's best hotels in a good location. Friendly staff and good breakfast offering. Clean spacious rooms although the room safe was considered too small for our needs.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Enjoy a chilled white wine with lunch at the hotel waterfront cafe.

Lovely hotel close to main sights

We stayed here for two nights in April and found the hotel very pleasant. The rooms were clean and well organised. It was only a five minutes walk to the main street with lots of restaurants and bars to choose from. It's a same the hotel charges for wifi as most hotels we stay in now have free wifi for guests. Also, the in room movies were quite expensive. If you want a simple hotel in a great location,then this is the place for you.
Restaurant Tip:
Don't eat a the Italian restaurant around the corner on the main strip.....one word.....awful!

A very nice hotel,
An old renovated building, situated at the harbour. In the triangle between The Royal Castle, The Opera and The Royal Theatre.

I have stayed at The Admiral many times, and it is always a pleasure. Nice place, nice people, nice environment.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The Royal Castle is just 2 minutes away - walking, and so is The Opera (sailing) and The Royal Theatre.
A walk along the harbour front is just outside the hotel.
