A well placed, comfortable hotel

The hotel was well placed in relation to both the airport & the centre of copenhagen.We were there for only 5 days & were able to move around very freely by using our Copenhagen card. The breakfast (buffet) was superb with a huge range of of cold meats, cheese, fresh bread, cereals, fruit etc. Basically our breakfast kept us going all day so that we only needed dinner in the evening. It was thus good value in an expensive city. The room was clean & as we overlooked a courtyard we had complete privacy. The staff were always polite & their English impeccable.

Lovely hotel, staff disappointing

Hotel is lovely, my room was very spacious and cozy. We didn't try breakfast.
The only thing that disappointed me is the staff. At front desk, staff really cold. Not unfriendly but not even nice. The only question regarding info about the city was answered in very superficial way.
Also, we came back from city sightseeing around 3pm and they hadn't cleaned the room yet. When the ladies arrieved we were in the room so we asked to make the room after 5 as we woudl be gone by that time. They said yes. We asked for fresh towels at least but they only had 1 big one,no more. At the end, when we came back at night noticed that But they finally never made our room. Not a 4 star staff

We chose this hotel from the 4 star rating and reviews as well as its location in the center of town. However, when we arrive and after checking in, we had to carry the bags ourselves with no offer for assistance especially when we had large luggage from our long travels. Although the hotel was a renovated old building, we still felt it could have done better on the design. There were only one set of towels in the bathroom and when we asked for additional set, it felt as if we had done something wrong. Personally not too impressed with this hotel besides its rather central location.

Room is a little worn out, and it is definately a minus that the room had carpets on the floor. All this was heavily compensated by extremely friendly and helpful staff, great location internet that delivers:)
