Small room in lovely city

Small room at strategic location. It is very easy with good transportation system. At the same time we can have difference choices of food and nice signtseeing around Copenhagen.
Highly recommend can serve with difference variaty of breakfast for dfferent day.
May consider some single room to be placed face to the another side of railway station which is noisy.

fantastic location but small room
Staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful, Location is near to Stroget - good shopping area, near to the Town Hall, very good location.

The rate of this hotel is reasonable esp when it includes breakfast. Staff in this hotel is friendly and helpful. Room are a bit small - size is not eonough to even open your luggage unless you put your luggage on the bed itself. We arrived very early in the morning but the staff allowed us to check in without any extra charge which is great after a long flight from Melbourne to Copenhagen via Bangkok.
Location is great for anywhere in Copenhagen. We even take 7 hrs (to and fro) by train plus bus to Legoland. It is also within walking distance from the Central Train station. We walked to two of the palaces.

Poor experience that cost us too much! Awfull smell in room. Lack of ventilation in bathroom. Drainage overflow due to poor maintenance. No curtain or doors for separation of shower from bathroom floor.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Next time we will stay in another hotel, even if we have to pay much more. This is the second time we are completely dissatisfied with a Best Western Mercur hotel.

Incredile price for such a good location

i had my doubts of this hotel when i booked it because the price looked very good for the location. i was lucky not being disappointed, except for a certain smell in the room, i think because they keep it closed with no ventilation perhaps to have it clean but because of the weather (summer time) i felt like the humidty smell inside, not big deal, windows open, problem solved. very bad arrangement for internet connection.

the room was a lot smaller than we expected. there wasn't even room for opening our suitcases on the floor without using the space in front of the bathroom door and thereby having to step over it.
the location is however good, a few blocks from the railway station and the popular ströget.

only 5 minutes walk from central station. near tivoli gardens, shopping areas and big variety of restaurants in the area. hotel only serves breakfast.
comfortable clean beds. good double glazing cut out traffic noise as the hotel is on a busy thoroughfare. only downside was the traffic noise all night when the window was opened. i would happily make a return visit but would ask for a room at the back of the hotel.
i had to phone hotel prior to my visit to specify a twin room as the room type on the agoda site was double or twin and there was no box to specify which - an annoying omission!

Great location & smallish rooms
location (close to the Central Train Station), value for money, very helpful staff!

We had one night and 1.5 days to explore Copenhagen between train & flight; this hotel was perfect for our needs. Across the road is the Tivoli Garden (must see for a couple hours!), Walking Street is 5 minutes away (great shopping, restaurants, people watching) - and the side streets are also great, and the University area.
Shopping Tip:
For a great selection of high quality shoes at very good & reasonable prices - go to Havana shoes on the Walking Street.
