Very nice hotel, great city,...
The hotel is very stylish and the room was quite comfortable (even though it was *very* small... but I knew that going in). The single room had a balcony which was very nice -- basically added 30% to ...
Literally an extra 20 cm of room width would have made a huge difference... since this was the last 3 days of a 3-week journey, I had a proper-sized suitcase (not just a weekender carry bag). This was...

A bit off-centre but nice
Nice ambiance, good attitudes
Possibly the fifth hotel I stay in in CPH this year - and well worth the special price offered by Agoda. The Guldsmeden chain of hotels has a nice down-to-earth feeling of luxury, at the same time as you feel that they are genuinly interested in making you feel welcome and comfortable. Only thing is that it is situated some 15 minutes walk from city square ie a bit further away than most hotels. But if you have your business in Vesterbro it is perfect. If they offer a good price, take it!

comfortable boutique hotel
helpful staff, great breakfast, nice dedcor
Comfortable, nicely decorated boutique hotel just a 10-15 walk or short bus ride from the central train station. Location is easily accessible to all Copenhagen attractions. Hotel breakfast (not included in our room rate) was delicious and the cost, while not inexpensive, seemed comparable to other area options. Room was comfortable though the balconies face the back of the hotel so do not have much of a view.

friendly service, offered maps and directions. There was a lift so easy to get to your room with bags. The four poster bed was great, giving the room a romantic feel.

Not possible to place the cosmetic bag anywhere in the bathroom. Light in bathroom at the mirror could be better - for women especially with make up etc.

Nothing
We stayed just one night but are very happy with the stay. Did not have breakfast on the hotel but found a nearby restaurant where we had a big Sunday brunch. Clean rooms and nice staff. We stayed in the so called annex wich I would ask for on next stay. Very calm and quiet place on the inner courtyard. Will come back next time I'm in Copenhagen.

carlton hotel gulsmeden
organic food and toiletries,
The hotel was a small private boutique hotel. ideally situated, 8 minutes walk to train station, information bureau and tivoli gardens. very quiet, set back from the main road. Also near to small and inexpensive restaurants. Room was a reasonable size, comfortable beds. Breakfast was good with fruit, cereals, cold cuts and bread choices. The hotel should provide tea and coffee making facilities or the ability to purchase drinks at a reasonable price from a vending machine. The shower should have some curtain to avoid wetting the floor and the towels could have been of better quality, larger and thicker.
