great old hotel decorated beautifully in old style. free glass of champagne on arrival. nice big room, very comfortable and well appointed. bathroom well appointed too. staff really pleasant and helpful. great breakfast. restaurant open for dinner - prices quite reasonable. hotel central to everything.

小さな旧市街なので、さらっと歩いて一回り。もうシーズンオフでちょっと寂しげ。海岸までは少し有ります。ホテルで頼むと、レンタル自転車も、届けてくれます。気持ちよく足を延ばせます。あっ、カードが使えませんでした。

Ilmeisesti vuodenajasta johtuen hotelli oli lähes tyhjä - toisena päivänä taisimme olla ainoat asiakkaat. Olemme vierailleet aiemminkin Victoriassa, koska pidämme hotellin vanhanaikaisesta tunnelmasta ja viehättävästä arkkitehtuurista. Meno ja meininki ovat aina puuttuneet tästä hotellista mutta rauhallista asumista kaipaava viihtyy Victoriassa kyllä hyvin. Hissittömyys haittaa huonojalkaisia. Ravintolapalvelut ovat tasokkaita, mutta hotellivieraiden puutteesta johtuen tunnelma ravinolassa oli tällä kertaa hieman kolkko. Vasta saapunut noveau ja pikku suolaiset kuitenkin pelastivat tilanteen niin, että kokonaisarvio on vahvasti plussalla.
