Staff were helpful
Staff were helpful, such as calling a taxi for us quickly and finally we were on time for the ferry to Estonia.

Other than some difficulties in finding the location of the hostel in the beginning, the experience was good. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was clean and quiet.

Great location if catching the Viking Line ferry t

Reasonable hostel and good value for money. Great location not far from the wharf and wharf markets and easy walking distance to the main shopping area and tourist attractions. Buses also stop very close to the hotel. Easy walking distance, pulling cases to the Viking Line ferry. While not far from the City Centre, it is in a very pleasant area.

We stay here with our friends during May 2010,Good location,Helpful staff,Morning sauna. We have a good deal when booking via agoda,reasonable price. So we will recommend others to book this hotel and should book early because the hotel will be fully booked during the high season. Tram no.4 will bring you to the city center and see around the city center. So we will stay here again!!!

Good place to stay within a close budget

What can you more expect more from a cheap place like this? It has pretty much all the basics you needed as a traveler. Yes, you will have to share bathroom, but it is clean. It is not very close to the city center, but it is pretty convenient to take the tram or take a 30 minutes walk.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
It is close to the farmers market, the harbor, and two churches. Make sure you didn't miss these sites.

nice place, services, simplicity, good staff and reception

the hotel was totally a comfortable, nice place to reside for a short time, staff were kind and responsible, food quality was good, rooms clean and comfortable, kitchen, wc service, bathroom all ok...the only problem was with parking ! there was no free parking area around the hostel...very incomfortable for drivers with own cars !

Good eating facilities, cooking facilities on floor also good.
Provision of materials in the lobby for planning days if you are a sightseeing.
Access to laundry facilities and iron available.
Connected to Helsinki by Tram 4 just over the road.

I liked my stay and have booked back in. It does the job and saves money. It's buzzing with younger people. The rooms seem to be well equipped but if you need the extras (breakfast, internet, sauna) then you may consider a cheap hotel as an alternative. It's not a hotel and shouldn't be rated as one.
