Clean, quiet, well designed room.
Good breakfast.
Helpful receptionists.
I would have preferred wireless internet in the room rather than broadband, and Scandinavian hotels never have a hospitality tray in the room for the guest to make a cup of tea!
It was 40 years since my first visit to Helsinki when I stayed at the Student Summer Hotel in Otaniemi so this was luxury. A larger than usual single room with furniture of Finnish design, TV and minibar, and a nice ensuite. Everything was clean and tidy. I loved the silver birch tree trunks and the murals in the breakfast room and the food was good too. After discovering the route to the station via Kamppi and the Forum Shopping Centres without the need to get wet or cold, I would definitely stay there again. Kiitos.
Shopping Tip : Don't forget the Moomin Shop in the Forum Shopping Centre.

Attractive Finnish style and design features.
Friendly and helpful english-speaking staff.
Excellent restaurant with traditional and modern dishes and good bar area.
Small bedrooms, leaky shower, smoky feel to corridors. Breakfast good range but quality weak.
This is a small friendly low-cost hotel with a distinctly Finnish flavour. Situated two minutes from the metro and ten minutes walk from the main station, there is a good range of nearby shopping and eating places and night venues. The main town centre, harbour and other attractions are all within an easy level walk.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Tempeliaukio Church, 5 minutes walk away, was quite unexpectedly awesome!

Especially enjoyed the uniquely designed rooms, and furniture placement! Very comfortable; would recommend.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Very short walk to Helsinki attractions, and historic places, such as the Rock Church and museums.

Good location, fresh, renovated rooms, fresh sauna
Perhaps the safety deposit boxes in the sauna. Wireless Internet works the front desk, not in the room. Internet cable in the room did not work satisfactorily.
Helka is a hotel I stayed at a number of times before and I think that the hotel is affordable in a city with a generally high hotel prices. The hotel is conveniently located right in the center and close to shopping, the new Fight Center just across the street from the hotel. Services also close, a short walk from the railway station, etc. The hotel is clean with renovated rooms choosy Finnish / Scandinavian style and helpful staff at reception.
Hotel Feature Tip : Small but fresh sauna

Stylish furniture and interior points near the station.
Use of sauna inconvenient time. I think that's 24 hours.
The hotel is decorated with stylish furniture and小綺麗. Aalto is the best lovers in particular. Takes less 10 minutes walk from Central Station, near Kammpi was convenient supermarket is open until late in the Shotsuppingusenta. The adjacent restaurant is very delicious, relaxing過Gosemashita than eating in town. Time available to the sauna is available from 7:00 to 19 so that was disappointing they did not once use the limited time and going out like that.

But the overall cleanliness, the sweetness of the claws to clean water is felt around. Amenities such as the toothbrush does not leave me.
Walk a little distance from the central station in about 10 minutes walk to the tram station is just two minutes because the discomfort is felt less. With friends, staying in a twin room for single occupancy +. The hotel interior was so happy with being fashionable in the Aalto furniture, the rooms are small. "A stylish boutique hotel" because feel like, no sense of quality. Were satisfied overall.

Sophisticated hotel near a bus and subway station. Very good and extensive breakfast buffet with plenty of seats. Free LAN Internet in room
Room 329 with disturbing noise from ventilation or air conditioning to sleep at night we have robbed. Bathroom rather small.
Room 329 at the end of the aisle had annoying noises, but since we already used the room and have only stayed two nights, I no longer ask another room gone. Bathroom rather small and simple, but everything worked, very nice shower. Free LAN Internet (using your own laptop) in the room, with Internet use on TV / computer, but a fee. Breakfast Buffet. Bus, tram and metro are just a few minutes from the hotel. Friendly staff.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The rock church is "just around the corner"

Moderate breakfast (including fresh fruit ()
The hotel is centrally located and a great place. It is a tidy desk is to help you. For example, a taxi was easy. Breakfast was poor with me, there was among fresh fruit. And the coffee was not fresh sinks, but a machine. Furthermore, the room was somber.
