these are dorm rooms opened in the summer for tourists. as such, amenities and organization could have some improvement. for example, the room came with a small kitchenette but lacked most facilities to use it (pots, pans, flatware, cups, dishes). the room we were in was located at the end of a corridor beyond an exit door. finding it required help from the counter staff. moreover, the staff was helpful, but often were unfamiliar with the operation of things like the computers, or the specifics of public transportation. finally, we requested a cab to come and there was a charge of $2 (1.5 euros) to make the call. a per night room fee led us to expect more. there was access to a sauna which we did not use because it was at 7:30 in the morning.

Great Place for economy travellers

It's a great place to stay - the units have kitchens with all the facilities to cook even a gourmet meal, lots of storage space, efficient bath rooms and practical furniture - the only thing missing is a TV. But there is a spacious common room with about eight PC's for residents, and it's for free. The place is also in walking distance of the city.

this hostel is located at the good location which is around 250-300 meter from the main central area and very easy for the one who would like to walk around and sight seeing, Its very convinient and safety for tourism. The hostel is clean and big room, good decoration and the good thing that this hostel has are swimming pool and sauna room which provide the good experience for traveller.Staff is very nice service and good relationship. If you will visit and traveling in Helsinki city this hostel is the first priority. Recommend!!!!
Shopping Tip:
only 5 minute from the hostel, you will find the big shopping center at the main central area such as stockman, kamppi, forum which its very convinient for every one who love to shopping should be stay at this hostel.

A 10 minutes à pied du centre ou 15 minutes de la gare centrale, une des solutions les moins chères de la ville. Cuisine et frigo dans les chambres. Sauna et piscine gratuits le matin. Internet gratuit à la réception. Beaucoup de services proposés, personnel très souriant et capable de donner tous les renseignements. Déco style "prison" par contre.

今回、ドミを予約していましたがシングルに変更。部屋にはキッチンと冷蔵庫があり物価の高いヘルシンキでも快適に過ごせました。
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
ホステルなど安価な宿泊施設が少ないヘルシンキでは貴重な施設ですが、学生が休みになる夏季限定です。

ヘルシンキ内では安い部類だとお思います。目の前にスーパーがあるのもgood

ヘルシンキでは数少ないとお思われるドミトリータイプの宿で、料金もヘルシンキ内ではかなり安い部類ではないかと思います。スタッフも皆親切でした。ただ、駅からは少し離れています。歩ける範囲内ですが・・・。
Shopping Tip:
徒歩圏内にあるモール「カンピ」内にある、Ｋスーパーマーケットは是非行って見てください。色んなものがあって楽しいですよ。
