The Scandic Marski Hotel in Helsinki is very close to the train station and 20 minutes away by cab to the airport.
The hotel has very large, stylishly designed rooms.
Free high speed internet access throughout the hotel.
Leisure options include a gym and three Finnish saunas.

Nice and clean hotel in the very best location of Helsinki.

It started with a warm welcome at the check in. The lady was friendly and competent. Everything was prepared. The rooms are quiet and in a good condition. The Gym is nice, but you can do almost everything you want to work out a bit. If you like Sauna, then you should go there. It is very clean and has a nice relaxing area. Even the breakfast was rich of offers for everybody, vegetarian food and all kind of other healthy food was offered.
Travel tip:
Right in the middle for everything you might like!

Hotel is centrally located in the heart of Helsinki. Rooms are clean, but quite small. Breakfast buffet is great, but it was very crowded during my visit.

Excellent location, but part of the hotel is old
Excellent location, free internet, good breakfast buffet.

They have the main building and another one in the backyard which is connected via a linkway on the third floor. In this part of the hotel they have old rooms. First I received a smoking room. In the first night they didn't have a non-smoking room available. Received a non-smoking room the next day without any problems.

It is good location for all shoppers. Tram station is also available in front of the HOTEL. 30 sec you can go to step in the TRAM from the hotel. Breakfast is so fine, so many variety of foods are available in the restram. Room is so comfatable and very silent. Internet connection is so easy to access.

This was the first time I used Agoda and the first time I used an international travel consolidator. The transaction when I registered at the hotel was the smoothest I have ever had and I can't recommend Agoda enough. The hotel was great and the staff very helpful. The hotel provided meeting rooms and catered an excellent dinner for the conference I was attending. Other than the construction, I would recommend the Scandic Marski.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Stockmans Department store across the street. Eckers (check spelling) is an excellent bakery about one block south and three blocks west.

The staff has always gone beyond the call of duty, and are the friendliest and most helpful we have seen! The breakfast variety and content is of higher quality than most Finnish Hotels. Although all are better than American breakfasts! The convenience to the trolley (just in front), the waterfront (just a few blocks), and the Esplanade (with all the great shops and bistros), plus Stockmans deparmtnet store just across the street. It is not too far from the railroad station either.
Shopping Tip:
Stockman's very large department store is just across the street, and the daily outdoor market is a short walk.
