Very good, quiet hotel in the centre of Helsinki
Hotel suits for everyone else than luxury seekers
9.3
I spent two nights in this hotels and I enjoyed my stay very much. Staff was really very friendly and helpful. Checking in the hotel was quick and easy.
My room was good quality although it wasn´t near to luxury. Beds were extra comfortable but the bathroom was a little bit poor. Bathroom floor was heated which is not something that you find from every hotel in Finland.
I also visited sauna and even though it was really hot in the evening, it was clean and stylish. Breakfast was good and especially I enjoyed friendly faces and smiles there. Got a great kick for my day.
Restaurant Tip:
There is amazing and affordable Japanese restaurant Koto just around the corner. Also it was great to have a grocery store across the street. Great pizzas near by in Denni´s. Also just one street away there is a shopping street called Fredrikinkatu. More small shops than in Aleksanterinkatu. Lots of authentic small bars in Iso Roobertinkatu.

Lovely hotel in beautiful helsinki
Comfort, breakfast, location
9.7
The hotel location, comfort and interior are the best things. The staff is very professional, friendly, helpful but not annoying. Beds are very soft and comfortable, all the furniture is new or kept very well, bathroom is clean and there's a warm floor, so you won't be frozen after a shower. The design is minimalistic and classic, very nice. There's a mini-bar as well.
The breakfast buffet was very very tasty and the atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant and relaxing.
Highly recommended if you find a good deal price.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
There's a Ruoholahti business district right away. You can see Nokia headquarters, some other IT offices and also there's good shopping in Ruoholahti shopping centre, just near the metro. Also check Kaapelitehdas (Cable factory) which is a huge arts and culture centre.

Helsinki is a lovely city to walk around and we felt very safe. we particularly enjoyed the design area around the hotel with the hip aspect of the cafes and shops. The old market is not to be missed for lunch at least once during your stay.
Shopping Tip:
beautiful and fine hand knitted socks and gloves. not inexpensive but the quality is certainly worth it
