I had a 'double room for single occupancy' which was a great size for one, especially for the extra £3 it cost over the single. Great service, excellent included breakfast and right in the centre, but quiet! I was there in July, so the restaurant was shut, but not really an issue as there are so many restaurants close by. A fantastic stay and excellent value at booking through Agoda - I knew I wanted to stay here and Agoda was the best price. Overall a fantastic stay - was here for work but I had some extra time and was able to easily explore Helsinki from it's central location. The top floor bar has amazing views and is a must do. The service we received was excellent, everyone was helpful and friendly. And for an included breakfast, very good with many options for different 'breakfast types' - would highly recommend for business or pleasure travellers - oh and the wireless internet is free all over the hotel!
Restaurant Tip : Across the street is a restaurant 'Karl Johan' - fantastic food at similar prices to the rest of town and lovely staff. And of course, go up to the top of the Torni for a drink and the view.

And the hotel boasts a prominent location, kavelymatkan Guide for proposers of public transport stops, entertainment and shopping centers. The hotel is an exceptional and significant history, and their share of Finland's history. Traffic noise is not detrimental, and cleanliness is very good. Wireless internet access in action well and is included in delivery. Bathroom is a little smaller, but functional. Laundry room floor could be heated. The hotel reception, restaurant and siivoushenkilosta was initially friendly and flexible. They created a very positive picture of this historic hotel. Single room on the seventh floor has not yet provided a great outlook, but its framework was ideal. Order was sufficient, most importantly, the noise is not impeded.

Architecture and decoration Location Breakfast Pub Insights emerge in 1999. It was recommended by people from the cultural field, as an example of art deco architecture. Was all that and more coffee one morning and never found anywhere in the world. A friend wrote an article that was published, describing one meal. I found a pub also super nice. Now (2009) came back. The hotel has been renovated, maintaining its characteristics. The breakfast is more international and it is no wonder that edition, but remains excellent. I hope to return often. And I will continue recommending.
