Great breakfast and convenient location

this was my first stay in helsinki and this hotel is so centrally located it wasn't really necessary to use public transport at all. it's just across from the railway station and so was easy to get to from the airport bus stop - which is great when you have a lot of luggage. the room (single) was small but as i was only sleeping in it that fit my needs. it was very clean and quiet and the hotel staff were always available and helpful, answering my questions and queries. the best thing for me was the buffet breakfast with a big selection of fruit, salad, breads, cereals and cooked food. that really set me up for the day. all in all, it's great value for money and i would definitely stay there again.
Shopping Tip:
Below the hotel is a department store and in the basement is a supermarket - great if you want to buy a picnic and save on the expense of eating out.

the location of the hotel is really strategic and very convenient and is in the city, just in walking distance and public transportation are everywhere,malls, sight seeing,all reached by bus and tram
the bathroom is very nice, the hotel was tidy and modern,i love the breakfast,so delicious and abit touch of local breakfast.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
alot of sight seeing and malls around there

Great location near central railway station
Location is superb. Easy access to trains and airport bus and historical area is a short walk away

Things we do not like:
The rooms are facing the next block of the same building so no privacy at all. And when we tried ao shut the curtains they were all torn dislodged from the railing, stained badly and very dusty . I don't understand how housekeeping could have missed to maintain that!
Also, breakfast starts at 8am kind of late although i have to say the spread was good.

Overall, it's a nice hotel in the center part of Helsinki, near the railway and bus station, so you'll stay here it's very comfortable to use the airport shuttle bus. Another plus is an excellent view from the restaurant located on the 10th floor.

The location of the hotel is perfect, just near the central railway station. There are also tram and metro station nearby. The room is clean and good facilities, and very helpful staff.

Good location but a small room.
Really good location, a short walk to the whole of the city centre. Very tidy and the service was friendly. Offers a touch of the "old days" with its functional architecture.

Our small but not very cosy looking room was in the 7th floor. It was very peaceful,no disturbing noise or anything. A small bathroom, comparable in size with the room itself, was clean and tidy as was the whole hotel. Good breakfast with a wide selection of dishes. Could recommend to travellers not requiring "grand luxury".
