The room size was good and breakfast also very nice. The location of the hotel is also good, Pori is a small city and there is no subway there. You can get busses and taxis but taxi is also expensive. The staff is very helpful and nice in the hotel and an overall high standard of rooms and facilities are provided. Pori is a nice and small city but in the winter it gets quite cold so better stay here in the Summer. The price was maybe a little high.

Scandic Pori Hotels should close down in summer

Scandic Pori hotel is in the city centre where the window cannot be open and no air conditioning in summer. (The hotel seems not prepared for summer)
The room is extremely hot and no ventilation can be done even with a small fan... Hotel should be closed down in summer.
The hotel is also in the city centre where Finns like to ride on extreme high power motobike at 2:00am to 5:00 am in the midnight... which wake you up several times during the night.
The furniture and facilities inside bathroom and room is terrible for a 4 star hotel costing you about 120 US per night. Water is all on the floor after your shower with broken closure for the bath area.
Restaurant Tip:
There is a recommended beef house in town near the market square which is very good from the city map from the tourist information centre or hotels.

Hotellin sijainti oli hyvä. Huone kuuma ja ilmastointi ei toiminut. Jouduimme pitämään ikkunaa auki ja ilmastointilaitteet heti ikkunan takana olevalla tasanteella olivat meluisia. Nukkuminen mahdotonta.
