A small but cozy place to be in

The guy who checked us into the hotel was polite. So was the waiter at Monte Rosa.
Located in the city area of Rovaniemi, this hotel is not too far from the bus and train stations. The size of the room is cozy and looks nice though it is very small.
The only thing that I must comment is the buffet breakfast spread. It lacks variety and quality. To add on, guests who came into the restaurant half an hour before the end of breakfast had nothing left for them to eat. They don't top up. Disappointed with breakfast. The only hotel I've been that leaves you hungry even after breakfast.

The rooms are without air-condition. We should open the windows all the time. But there is a pub on the ground floor, many people stayed outside the pub, so quite noisy at night.
The staff are helpful for giving a lot of information about sight-seeing. Besides, when we missed the airport bus, she help us to catch the bus again.

Older hotel, big room, great staff, great food

We arrived early morning on the overnight train, We were happy to leave our bags at the hotel until checkin, but the staff happily arranged for a room to be available shortly after we arrived. We paid for a breakfast on arrival as nothing much was available on the train or at the station, and it was certainly worth the expense. Happily it was also included in our room rate for the next morning. The room was a bit old but it was large, warm and comfortable. The staff were just as helpful when booking tours or taxis, are the hotel was centrally located and provided easy access to most venues.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Try to avoid travelling in -27c temperatures, but 2 places to warm up are the arktikum, for local education, and for some jolly shopping, santas village on the arctic circle.

This hotel offered me the rest that I was wanting. It was comfortable and situated near all the sights.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Make sure you book a husky sled tour. Best thing I've ever done.

ok, but a bit worn out. the cleaner of the must be having a bad day, because there was some sugary sticky stuff on table, brochures and tv- remote. good location on the center of the city. parking with car heating included on the room price. bar/bup on downstair could have wider selection with beers. good basic selection on rovaniemi's hotel offerings.

stayed at this hotel for one night, after hiking in lapland, and before returning to helsinki.
the location was central and we could walk to every attraction that interested us.
staff was very friendly and flexible - since we had to leave very early the next day to catch the train, they agreed to arrange early breakfast for us, before the buffet breakfast opened.

Stayed at this hotel in February 2010. Had a lovely time in Roveniemi. Hotel was very central. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they handled all matters with efficiency and goodwill.
The rooms were comfortable and clean and well appointed.
The breakfats were wonderful!
Would highly recommend this hotel!
