Situated in the center of the city, this large hotel is popular with many international guests as well as local business people. The Sokos Tammer Hotel houses an excellent restaurant which serves delicious local cuisine and there are several popular bistros and bars just outside the hotel. The hotel is comfortably close to famous tourist spots including the Tammelantori market area. The hotel also organizes large meetings and events and features a large conference room which is regularly used for wedding receptions and also features a comprehensive fitness center.

Robert P. Couples United Kingdom, September 13, 2010	Experience at Tammer Sokos Hotel in Tampere The hotel is central located within walking distance of the Railway Station. It is in excellent condition with friendly staff and well proportioned rooms containing all essential features. The breakfast which was included within the price of the room was excellent 9.3 We arrived late in the evening and were made welcome. Having been alocated a room which we had previously enjoyed we went back to reception and asked if it was possible to have anything to eat. We were provided with fresh sandwiches and wine at a very acceptable price. In the morning we left early to get a train. Before leaving we were able to enjoy a very acceptable buffet breakfast comprising of both warm and cold dishes. This was our 3rd visit to the hotel this year and we were only sorry we were unable to book it for nthe evening of the 22nd September as it was fully booked. If we are ever looking for a hotel in Tampere in the future our first choice will be The Tammer
