Couples France, May 19, 2012	Great place but lack attention to details Romantic, classical, service 8.3 we have just spent one night in the royal barrière in deauville. i haven't been there for a very long time and the place is still magnificent for those who like the "2nd empire" style. the room was classy, large enough and with a nice view on the pool and the hotel itself. bed was excellent. the breakfast was expensive but very good. rush hour can be a bit crowded in the breakfast room, but the service is very nice as always, not too formal for a week-end place. apart from major refurbishing works, which are going to be needed one day or another - but fairly soon anyhow - the hotel could still improve on details to be perfect. for instance, there is no free bottle of water upon arrival in the room, no possibility to make tea or coffee in the room, no ipod plugin and wi-fi is not free, which is not conceivable given the price of the room - but my wife definitely appreciated the sample of perfume!

A good service hotel. Definitely will stay at this hotel, again. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: You can find anything so easy in this hotel area. Nice people also. I can sleep very well. Quiet and warm.
