unbeatable location, good value-for-money, staff very friendly and helpful
considering star-rating, I found nothing to dislike
This property is ideally located at the mouth of Marseille´s Old Port. It is adjacent to a subway and within a couple blocks of the tram. At the same time, it is a 15-minute walk from Saint Charles station (main train station in Marseille). Virtually all tourist attractions are within walking distance - or within very easy reach on public transportation. Staff members go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. By French standards, the hotel breakfast exceeded my expectations. Standard rooms have good size - particularly the bathrooms that have nice tile decorations. I really can´t say there was anything that I did not like!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : When you are finished touring Marseille, you will be wise to take day-trips to attractive locations like Arles or Aix-en-Provence. Both are less than 1 hour by train from Saint Charles Station. If you arrive in Marseille by plane, you may wish to ride the airport buses into the city (buses run in both directions every 20 minutes).
