Located right on the Old Port, this hotel offers rooms with unbeatable views of St Victor Abbey and the Notre Dame de la Garde-Basillica. The hotel is right in the middle of the tourist area of the city, within walking distance of so many museums, boutique stores, markets, restaurants and cafes. This is a great hotel to use as a base for exploring the city, with many of the rooms and apartments featuring their own balconies. On the hotel site guests have access to wireless Internet access and there are also fax and photocopy facilities for anyone who has to work while staying at the hotel.

This charming hotel has known better times, but it was the perfect place from which to visit Marseilles, since it is within walking distance of most places one would want to see, The view of port and beyond to the church on the hill was perfect. The staff was wonderful, very helpful. The breakfast was quite rich.
