A modern and comfortable hotel allowing easy access to the historic island of Mont Saint Michel. The Mercure Mont Saint Michel is situated just 1800 meters from the abbey, offers a good choice of meeting rooms and a gourmet restaurant serving the best of French cuisine. The 100 rooms are all well-appointed and complimented by warm, friendly service and modern amenities. The hotel itself is a popular venue for seminars and business meetings, with six different meeting rooms, comfortably accommodating up to 100 delegates. The history of the magnificent abbey is long and complicated, though today Mont-Saint-Michel is seen as a Gothic-style church, and is a UNESCO Listed Heritage Site.

walking distance (~1 mile) from Mont Saint Michael; great restaurant across street; very good breakfast buffet;
no free Wifi in room (but free Wifi in hotel lobby)
nice staff which could speak English. The rooms are clean. The bed is not too comfortable (can feel box springs). HVAC system OK. Great breakfast buffet which is worth the money if you are rather hungry. if you need free wifi, you can go down to the hotel lobby - they offered free login information. unfortunately, the signal was not strong enough to work inside the hotel room.
