Great location

No parking lot but there is a lot nearby with reasonable overnight rates. Hotel is in a great area with plenty shopping and great restaurants. Rooms are clean and generously sized. Front desk staff are quite pleasant and willing to help.

The rooftop has panoramic views all around Nice. The hotel is well located, a bit back from the beach away from the awful tourist streets. After checking in we visited the rooftop bar for some salad. We were impressed with the view and returned after dinner (the staff had recommended an excellent restaurant in the old town). We met some Nice locals who had come to the bar, as it seems to be well known in the area for its views.
The furnishings in the room were a bit old but comfortable.

Management explained that there was a technical problem and they could not accommodate us. They arranged for another hotel for us, which was a really nice hotel near the water. They also arranged and paid for the taxi to transfer us.

Nice location but the windows leaked traffic noise

Friendly and helpful personnel. The hotel has a relatively high standard but in our room the design dominated over functionality - e.g. the bathroom was as large as the rest of the room.
The included breakfast was quite good, although not top of the line and the terrace bar on 7th floor is very nice. The roof pool was being renovated at the time of our stay.
The only neagtive factor is the sound leaking windows, causing irritatingly high traffic dB in the room, something that is prone to disturb your sleep.

The exterior facade of the hotel was magnificent and well matched with the newly refurbished interiors. Location was great and near the shopping areas of major departmental stores such as Galaries as well as the main street, yet adjacent to the sandy beaches for a great morning and evening stroll.

poor service in the reception - we did not get the room we ordered and we had to get into long arguments in order to get across and to agree on a compensation (free breakfast !!!!!)

a very nice place to stay.
only the wifi service was not in order that day.
i enjoyed great shopping in lafayette that's
just two minutes walk from the hotel.
Travel tip:
In summer it's quite expensive.
Better to visit in winter.

Renovated Rooms in a very good location

Make sure you stay in the superior rooms as they are renovated. Though they are very small, the interior is modern and quite pleasant. Especially compared to other run down old hotels of the same price class in Nice. The old city and the beach are only a short stroll away. Moreover the bus terminal is very close, too. E.g. for a trip to Monaco or Cannes.
There are two roof terraces with a beautiful view over Nice. One with a pool. Unfortunately the pool bar closes early though it is stated differently.
