This older-style Belle Epoch hotel is on the Promenade des Anglais with views over the glittering Mediterranean. Located next to Musee Massena and directly opposite the beach, the Hotel West End Promenade des Anglais has the vintage character that befits its 1842 opening date. Decorated in a relaxed, period style, rooms facing the ocean are obviously the best ones, although all rooms are comfortable and air-conditioned and all guests have access to the hotel's charming Art Deco lounge and Le Siecle restaurant right on the Promenade. It's a ten-minute walk along the beach to the Old Town and the cafes and general activity of Place Massena are even closer; a five-star location for this elegant four-star property.

Perfect Location but small balcony

There was a big mistake with booking. I paid for a Sea-View suite with Agoda but got a reservation with Non-Seaview. Then to fix their problem they had to charge me EUR140 extra. It was such a hustle. In the end, I finally received my EUR140 refund today. Female staff in the hotel were rude wanted to kick us out first thing in the morning, unbelievable psychotics.
