Renovated in 2007, this sophisticated Mercure offering allows guests easy access to rail and the shopping of Avenue Jean Medecin. Located opposite the neo-gothic Basilique Notre Dame, this property has all the requirements of a business hotel plus some attractive features that have nothing at all do to with work. The rooftop pool is one of the hotel's best points, with 360-degree views of Nice, It's not a bad place for a morning swim or afternoon tanning session. Next to the tram line, the Mercure Centre Notre Dame is within easy reach of the Promenade des Anglais, the Old Town and the beach, although guests can walk to these places in ten minutes or so. The 1st floor garden courtyard is a cute and quiet spot for a pot of tea or a refreshing vin blanc.
