We stated here one night. It's location is perfect for the main resturant area and a few minutes walk from the sea front. The staff were great and the breakfast was good too. I would use this hotel again.

Lovely hotel and great service

we had a wonderful time staying at this hotel.
the room was big,comfortable and quiet.
the bathroom was modern, probably recently rebuilt, everything clean, towels, etc.
good bed, the sheets frequently changed.
in short the best hotel we stayed in for many years.
a small fridge would have been useful.
Travel tip:
Many restaurants around the hotel, very close to the beach, very close to main stores and the old Nice, about half an hour walk to the train station.

Great location but rooms are small
In a pedestrian street which had a night market, lots of fun walking around

Lovely little hotel in a pedestrian street, which meant lots of nice walks around the local area. Market stalls every night, but we were never hassled by sellers. The area was very clean with lots of Ristorante around. Hotel staff very helpful.

OK hotel with good location

Somehow the location is good and finally easy to find the hotel. There is a lot of great food outlets and restaurants around nice. The tram is so convenient and within walking distance from the hotel. Hotel facilities is so so and very basic. However it is clean.

Regence Hotel, Nice
Location is great, and room is sufficient for the rate that we paid. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby, and the beach and the old town is within walking distance.

We had an issue with cancelled flights and, as a result, we were not able to check in on the day that we were supposed to. Despite the fact that we had pre-paid for our accomodation, the hotel cancelled our booking and offered our room to someone else. This proceedure was clearly outlined in their cancellation policy, however I still believe that this policy is unfair, given we had already paid for the room. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends, but I will warn them of the cancellation policy.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Make sure you do a day trip to Monaco! The bus is easy and fairly comfortable.

Cute hotel with professional friendly staff

I stayed in Nice during the prime time of the year. There were people all over the place, enjoying the sun on the beach, shopping & fine dinning or nice walk in the old town. The Regence Hotel is in the centre of everything. The hotel quality is beyond the star rating. I am very happy of this choice.
The hotel is also very convenient if you want to go for a train/ bus ride to Cannes and Monaco. The train station is 15 mins walk and bus terminal to regional areas is also about 15 mins walk and bus cost only 2 Euros! If you go to the airport, you only need to walk from the hotel the next block towards the beach and there is a bus stop to Nice Airport. The bus is comfortable and runs every 20 mins. If no traffic, you can get to the airport in 15 mins.
Don't miss the old town area. Even though you may not be interested in shopping, the alleys are beautiful and so much fun to walk through them. Also, the Modern Art Museum is great, too.

Great location on the popular rue Massena

The Rue Massena is a popular pedestrian street, especially at night, with lots of street performers. Inside the hotel, you might not realize the life outside, as it is rather peaceful. Within a block or two there are groceries, restaurants, shopping, and access to a tram that goes to the train station. We couldn't have asked for a better location. Beds were adequately comfortable and rooms were a good size.

the Regence hotel was perfectly located in the center of Nice's restaurant district and bustling night life. It's also located just 3 or so block from the beach in between the new and old city. We could walk everywhere from our hotel.
The staff went out of their way to accommodate our requests and needs. The hotel was clean and comfortable.
For the price, it was the best option I could have found in Nice. So pleased we stayed there!
Travel tip:
Visit the Coeurs Salaya just blocks away for fabulous dining and entertainment.
