This competitively priced hotel is great for staying in the vicinity of Gare St. Lazare and Place de Clichy. There is a fabulous department store just a 10 minute walk down the street to Boulevard Haussmann. Metro stops are even closer to the hotel. The place serves breakfast but no other meals, which is pretty standard for this class of hotel. There is an inner courtyard with lots of plants and beautiful fresh natural sunlight and fresh air. Some rooms are overlooking the courtyard and these are better than the others. All rooms are among the smallest of the small Paris hotel rooms and bathrooms, but they are clean and well kept.
Please note that all guests including children must pay city tax of 1.00 Euros per person per night directly to the hotel upon arrival. This is an additional charge and is not included in the room rate. Children and extra beds:Guests over 3 years old are considered as adults. Extra beds are dependent on the room you choose, please check the individual room policy for more details.

the room is so small

The location of the hotel is convenient, just near the metro station. we can find that easily. But the room is so small, and the bathroom is really small, also, there are so teethbrush, we need to buy outside. besides, the hotel have free wifi , it is the best point.also the cost is not so expensive.

unpleasant hotel with extremly cramped room !!

Reception charged me extra 25 euros when i arrived as they say the money i paid for is only for 1 person. Room was totally too small with no walking space AT ALL !!! Door couldn't even open fully to go in or go out. Heater condition was as good as not working, luckily only stayed there for a night. Would advise anyone not to patronise the hotel ever again so as not to go through a horrible experience like i did. Definitely the worst hotel i've ever stayed in my entire life.

The hotel is near the metro train station which made it easy for me to travel to my target destinations. Though at first, it was hard for me to find it because the hotel name is not prominently displayed (only AO Hotel).
The room I got was loft type with the bathroom and toilet in separate rooms in the 2nd floor. The towels are changed every day and the room is really clean. I wished though that there are bottles of water in the refrigerator.
The staff members are very friendly so I felt at ease in the hotel. They helped me when I needed help, answered my questions, and even gave me a free breakfast (my reservation does not have b/f included).
Breakfast was very simple: a few pastries and bread, jelly spreads, cheese, coffee and juice. I will still prefer to have breakfast outside.
Overall, I satisfied with my stay and will still book with AO in the future.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
For first time visitors, a free walking tour helps to get yourself familiarised with the city (give tips to the tour guide!).
